Hi and welcome back to all the Beavers and leaders. Hope you all had a good summer, sorry I couldn’t do anything about the weather for you. Anyway I’m glad to see you all back and welcome to new Beavers Ryan Grummet, Ben Staples, Joseph Rutter, Luke Yates and Sam Edmonds - hope you all will enjoy yourself at Beavers.
Beavers Liam Carr and Matthew Lawlor arrived with new uniforms so we thought it would be nice to invest them as they looked so smart, so congratulations to both of you.
Kate and I have had a planning meeting and hopefully come up with a fun packed program for you all. Some of the things we will be doing include making sweets, experiments badge and fishing.  We are also trying to plan an evening out.
We have a Beaver sleepover planned for the weekend of the 8/9 November at HQ - it would be nice to see you there, so if parents could let me know as soon as possible I can book the activities.
If any Beavers would like to take their Swimming Stage 1 badge please see either myself or Kate and we can arrange a Friday evening down at Sherwood Baths for you to do it.
I would just like to thank some of the parents, especially Jane, Jane, Julie and Sharon for their help and support with Beavers, and a very big thank you to Kate - I would never have managed without you. Unfortunately we have now lost Janet Fearn who decided to give up Beavers due to other commitments, so thank you Janet and you’re welcome to come and visit us any time.
